Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem

Gershon Agron Street

The experience

A historic stone facade opens into a glass-roofed atrium. The Guerlain Spa, indoor pool and restaurants offer reasons to stay in, with Jaffa Gate less than a kilometre away when you head out.

Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem occupies a historic building at 26–28 Gershon Agron Street, 0.7 km from Jaffa Gate according to Hilton. The hotel's history timeline begins in 1929 with The Palace Hotel and runs to 2014, when the building became Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem. Built with local pale stone and paved with marble, it now holds a glass atrium within its historic stone façade, and Mamilla Mall is 0.5 km away.

Hilton lists 26 room and suite types, from balcony rooms to named suites, with arched windows, chandeliers and marble bathrooms that include a mirror-embedded TV. The Guerlain Spa is the centre of leisure at the hotel, with nine treatment suites, a heated indoor pool with a jet stream, two Turkish hammams and two dry saunas. A multilingual personal concierge is available throughout the stay, and The Palace serves an Israeli breakfast buffet with Waldorf Astoria classics à la carte.
