SALAMTECHS
About SalamTechs
Last updated:
SalamTechs is an English and Arabic publication about Israel and the Gulf: the companies building new technology, the business ties forming between the two regions, and practical guides for people who want to visit.
Why we started
SalamTechs began after the Abraham Accords opened direct ties between Israel and Gulf states. Salam means peace, and we believe peace grows stronger when people meet, trade and visit each other. We write for readers who want to see those opportunities clearly and judge them for themselves.
What we publish
- News and analysis on funding, acquisitions, technology and cooperation across Israel and the Gulf, with the sources behind each story.
- Profiles of 208 Israeli startups, grouped by sector, with links to the public information behind them.
- 23 travel guides to Tel Aviv–Jaffa, Jerusalem, Eilat, Herzliya and places across Israel, and guides to 27 hotels — written for business visitors, families and faith travellers.
- Business services: bilingual content, company research, roundtables and business-visit coordination.
Who we write for
Our readers are investors, founders, business travellers and families in the Gulf and beyond who are curious about Israel — and Israelis looking towards the Gulf. Every page is published in English and Arabic, and both versions are reviewed before publication.
How we work
We separate event dates from publication dates, link to our sources, and correct errors openly. Hotels, places and companies are chosen editorially; inclusion does not mean a partnership or endorsement.
How SalamTechs is funded
SalamTechs is supported by its business services, clearly labelled sponsorships, and commissions from some travel links. When a link can earn us a commission it is marked, and commissions never decide what we include or how we describe it.
