Capitolis said on 6 October that it completed $220 million in financing: a $120 million Series E equity round at a $1.9 billion valuation, plus debt. Citi led the equity round. Bank of America, Nomura and Tradeweb joined as new strategic investors, alongside existing bank investors. First Citizens Innovation Banking, Hercules Capital and Pinegrove Venture Partners are providing the debt financing.

The company says the capital will support its agreement to buy eSecLending for $200 million in cash and add securities lending to its financial-resource platform. However, the two milestones are different: the financing is complete, while the acquisition announced on 29 September remains subject to customary closing conditions, regulatory approvals and antitrust clearance. Capitolis did not publish the debt terms or a closing date. For Israel’s fintech sector, the investor list matters because major global banks are funding infrastructure they may also use—not simply backing another software growth round.
