Tel Aviv / TEL AVIV · LUXURY SELECTION

The Norman Tel Aviv

Central Tel Aviv · near Rothschild Boulevard

The experience

For a boutique base and smaller business gatherings. Restored historic buildings, dining and meeting rooms make this a distinctive city stay.

The Norman occupies restored historic buildings on Nachmani Street in central Tel Aviv, steps from Rothschild Boulevard and within the White City, which the hotel notes is a UNESCO heritage site. It opened in 2014 in two original buildings: the Main House, a Modernist building from 1923, and the Pavilion, an eclectic-style building from 1925. A third building, The Residence, opened in 2026 overlooking Albert Square. Together they hold 58 individually designed rooms and suites, with interiors by the London designer David d'Almada.

The scale is intimate, and the experience centres on the hotel's own venues. ALENA serves an à la carte breakfast and an all-day menu, with an outdoor terrace beneath a palm tree; Dinings, on a roof terrace, blends Japanese cooking with European touches; and The Library Bar on the ground floor is open from morning until after midnight. In season, a rooftop infinity pool and sundeck are reserved for hotel guests, and the interiors feature a curated collection of contemporary art.

A good fit for

  • Travellers who want a city-centre base near Rothschild Boulevard rather than a beachfront tower.
  • Small business meetings: the Boardroom accommodates up to 18, with a 70-inch screen and video conferencing.
  • Guests who appreciate restored 1920s architecture and contemporary art.
  • Longer stays that need space, with Pavilion suites of 65 m² and 75 m².

When is the rooftop pool open?

The hotel lists the season as 17 April to 1 November, weather permitting. The pool is reserved for hotel guests, a lifeguard is on duty during opening hours, drinking water and towels are complimentary, and food and drinks can be ordered from the pool menus. Guests who want to swim before 08:00 are asked to tell the hotel in advance.

Can I hold a business meeting at The Norman?

Yes, on a small scale. The Boardroom accommodates up to 18 guests and has a 70-inch screen with audio and video conferencing facilities. For private events, the hotel also lists the Conservatory, a Private Dining Room, the Tower Garden, the Dinings terraces and the penthouse suites.
