Island announced a $400 million Series F on 24 September, led by Evolution Equity Partners, at a $6.4 billion valuation. The US–Israeli enterprise-security company says the financing will support growth and product development as businesses deploy more AI agents. The round size and valuation measure different things; neither is a disclosed revenue figure.

Island describes a platform that governs access and activity across browsers, devices, applications, networks and data. The practical issue is accountability: when an agent opens a business application or moves information, an organisation needs to know which identity acted and which policy applied.

For technology buyers in Israel and the Gulf, a useful evaluation would test one real workflow: whether an agent can reach only the permitted data, when human approval is required, and what the audit record captures. That is an editorial assessment of the buying questions, not a verified benchmark of Island’s product. The financing announcement does not establish a new Gulf customer or partnership.
