The planned combination links monitoring data with software that adjusts computing resources. groundcover intends to use Wand internally and bring its capabilities to customers. The announcement does not establish general availability of an integrated product.

For cloud teams, the practical question is permission: which changes can software make without an engineer? Before adopting such automation, a useful evaluation would examine approval controls, rollback and incident records. These are editorial evaluation criteria, not verified product features.
