The documented agreement

The UAE–Israel treaty signed on 15 September 2020 establishes peace, diplomatic relations and normalisation and sets out areas for cooperation. A treaty is evidence of commitments by its parties. It is not a measurement of public attitudes or proof that every proposed cooperation project was implemented.

Corrections to the earlier edition

The earlier article attributed favourable-opinion figures of 65% and 74% to a 2021 Pew survey without a verifiable source. Those figures and the associated survey attribution have been removed, along with unsupported textbook changes. Public opinion requires a named study, fieldwork dates, sample and question wording. Business opportunity should likewise be supported by a specific customer need and implemented agreement.
